Lewes cathedral, source of great beer

Time for something nice in my blog, so here’s a picture of Harvey’s brewery in Lewes, East Sussex. A traditional, independent brewery, Harvey’s has been providing the people of Sussex with fine beer for over 200 years. If you’re in the area, try not to miss a pint of their lovely Sussex Best Bitter. Locally, the brewery enjoys the nickname ‘Lewes cathedral’.

Photographic footnote: this photo was taken on a little Sony DSC-W5 – a 5MP compact camera bought by me in 2005. The lens is a Zeiss Vario-Tessar 38-114mm (equivalent) zoom. Try clicking on the photo and see it full size. It is difficult to fault the image quality. So don’t automatically believe you need 20MP or more to get a decent photo. As this photo shows, it simply isn’t true.
